About Me

Hello! I'm Maria, and I am a counselling therapist based in Calgary, AB. I specialize in working with people going through difficult life transitions, relationship struggles, trauma, grief and loss, lack of meaning, ADHD, depression, and anxiety.I studied at Divine Mercy University, where I earned a Master of Science in Counselling. My training there, along with my personal formation, has informed my approach, which considers and integrates all aspects of the human person, including their spirituality, cultural background, and values. Every person is unique; therefore, my therapeutic approach varies depending on each person's needs and considers what will best support their flourishing.I strive to bring a warm and genuine presence while creating a non-judgmental and safe environment where clients can feel at ease. I believe that through positive emotional experiences in a therapeutic setting, we can experience deep healing that can extend into the rest of our relationships and lead to greater freedom.I believe that no matter how deep the wound, there is always hope for healing. In fact, it is often through difficult experiences that the greatest growth can take place in our lives. Taking the first step may be difficult, but you don't have to face the journey alone.

Payment

Session rate: $200Payment types accepted include e-transfer, Visa and MasterCard.

Insurance

I am covered through a number of insurance companies who cover clinical counsellors/psychotherapists. You can contact your provider and provide my ACTA number (#3094) to confirm if your insurance covers my services. I do not provide direct billing at this time.
